Dr. Michael has lived on Maui since 1980 and has developed his own personal technique based on decades of patients and continuing education hours'. His base techniques can be classified u

Dr. Michael has lived on Maui since 1980 and has developed his own personal technique based on decades of patients and continuing education hours'. His base techniques can be classified under Diversified, Activator Method, Gonstead, Pettibon Rehabilitation and Kinesio Taping. Depending on preference and symptoms he utilizes force and non-force techniques. A typical initial appointment will be 30-40 minutes of face time as he discusses your history and symptoms, performs the examination and chiropractic treatment and explains your home plan for rehabilitation and pain relief.

Dr. David Kern received his naturopathic medical training from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon from 1973 to 1979. Dr. Kern founded Grace Health Centers of Maui in 1985. In 2001, Dr. Kern was admitted to the medical staff of Maui Memorial Medical Center, becoming the first naturopathic physician in Hawaii admitted to a state hospital medical staff.

We have a 23 hour cancellation policy.
Missed appointments will be charged $40.
New patients expect a 30-45 minute appointment.
Follow up care, please allow for 15-25 minutes.
We accept cash, check, credit cards and payment is expected on the day of service.
As we move toward becoming a paperless office please arrive 5 minutes early and expect to self check-in on our kiosk.
Rapid Release, Erchonia percussor, Electric Stimulation, Kinesio taping and heat pads are used regularly. Please designate your preference or interest in receiving these therapies.
